stubblemonkey's Tales of the Sly Ditt Inn hits 200 strips on Tuesday 26th February with a the start of a new mystery. One that involves the local cops!
Okay! Now lastly, ozoneocean and I are going to change the Featured Comics schedule. We'll just do one comic a week for a little while- we want the features to get more attention, and maybe we can use some of that extra time to get some community events going??? So our comic features will be on Wednesdays now- so keep an eye out!
Oh, lastly lastly, don't forget DD has a tumblr account now! There's a range of stuff there- some of it reposts from the site, but also promoting some comics and DDers, some resources and references, and other stuff! You can follow it if you want, but you can also send stuff to be posted!

community ambassadors - people who take on a specific task or project, perhaps even going to the effort to contact people to participate (rather than wait for people to find it). There's a number of things that individuals can do to raise others' and DD's profiles too, but I think it's hard to motivate people to do much when the site is generally so low. more events (vs projects) - like Hangouts video content- Mini comic reviews, show-and-tells, tutorials, etc. forum events - I'm not sure the forum is big enough to support this nowadays, but lots of lively forums do things like livewatching TV, etc. Perhaps a "community comic read" with a given comic, and someone to manage questions/topics. Non-standard threads with "choose your own adventure" style game. Collaborative fiction threads where people take turns writing a story. Comic character redesign threads. etc!

Yup, there is a drunkduckwebcomics youtube account, but it hasn't been used in 5 years. Wowio was putting DD stuff on their wowio youtube account, but I think now they're just updating their thepopgalaxy channel. We did have a talk a while ago with our wowio contact and he was really interested in getting some DD video content- but because neither oz nor I are into video, we weren't much help. :] Some of the ideas I had I put here: http://www.drunkduck.com/forum/topic/174640/?page=4#2961469 but I'll just c/p for convenience, I'll have to post in a new comment

I'm interested in these community events, any more information that you can give me I would appreciate. Also, does The Duck have any "official" presence on YouTube? I just made a channel related to my comic there and the thought just crossed my mind. :)
