The BIG news today is that we will have a new person doing the features!
You may or may not be familiar with kawaiidaigakusei.
She actually shows up in Quackcast 139!.
From now on kawaiidaigakusei and I will be doing the weekly features, alternating. Skoolmunkee is retiring from that aspect. In the old days of DD we had lots of people doing the jobs around the site- people had passions for things and worked away at them because of that, as their life circumstances changed new people naturally took over and we moved on. But since the site moved to the new design and the Wowio managed model it's just been Skool and I doing all the jobs, way past our use-by dates for them, with no replacements…
Well, now that the site is going to be a community managed thing we're finally fully free to start delegating power as we need to. So Skool is finally able to take a long, much deserved break from doing comic features. She's done a bloody fantastic job at it for many, many years now! I wish I could live up to her level of excellence when it comes to features! I think I may have managed to approach it on occasion but never reached it… She's a hard act to follow.
As the days go on I'll be adding more helpers who have passion to make the site cool!

Yes, Skool did a great job for a very, very long time. We're lucky to have had her! I think Kawaiidaigakusei has the chops to be a great feature reviewer. ^_^

Thanks for the friendly introduction, Oz! I always appreciated the amount of time skoolmunkee put into the weekly features by taking notes and by giving a thorough critique on the Quackcast. Trust me, it did not go unnoticed and I looked forward to the weekly reviews. Being able to do features is such an honor and I hope to continue the legacy to the best of my ability.
