02: place with a view

eh, panel two. seems to me to have too much color, but the cityscape came out alright, so… but, that is approximately what it looks like, depending on where you are standing. and no… i have no idea what is up with the plant.
oh, and yes, its set in the real world, with real people, doing real (and relatively bland) activities… if you want aliens or zombies or elves or any manner of majiks (excluding electricity), guess you'll have to look elsewhere. although… zombies would be kinda fun.

Crap! I meant "STORMY", jebus, why don't I check my damn spelling? And of course what I meant by that was some kind of ironic remark regarding this location and its recent history with a certain big storm... I'm sorry for the confusion my idiotic typing fingers have caused.

iagojester - aye, now ah'm going to be trying to figure out that first part for hours... though i'd guess that's the way you imagine anything that people tell you exists, but don't give too much detail about. like south dakota... and i think you're right about the color, although, now that i'm looking at it, its actually the drawing that isn't right, should have pushed the whole panel down and extended the sky. that would have helped with the 10-30/70-90 color too. that's why i'm a philosopher and not an artist! *grins* ozone - for some reason i feel like there is some meaning behind your comment that i'm just not getting. but then, it is very very late (if you are on college logic) or very very early (if you are on grown up logic), so...

There are buildings! For some reason I imagined this big flat place where I used to envision New Orleans. ... not that I've ever been there. or knew what it looks like... it's something like imagining emptiness that you never knew could be filled. Huh. You can ignore that. also, I think the color balance looks odd because it's so 50/50. I think most artists go 10/90 or 30/70ish if they're mixing black.white and color.
