@Katzen you don't remember? Part of it was her being influenced by Mr Z an early attempt to tear down the bonds of the Fiveclaw family- one that nearly worked- but instead Summer's later realizations on her errors (and that she'd be in a better possition with a whole species full of customers and job seeking employees I'm sure) Lan managed to turn her betrayal into a dept, one that if not for Mr Z's involvement he could not get the equivalent of, ever, he's been holding onto it for quite some time.

A big stick is one way to put it- Lan will probably want her cloaked until after it arrives, nothing quite like a good ol' fashion Klingon Bird of Prey -style entrance to prove a point- not sure if More Room has any point defense weapons- but her standard equipment and presence would provide a reverse perspective on the situation- instead of the humans being the nearly untouchable side due to the technology gap- the humans will feel what it's like to be on the receiving end- the moment it decloaks.

Ahh my family plans trips so that if we would be near a city during a meal time/approximate/ are cool city landmarks to see (like the Saint Louis Arch) we will go into the city- otherwise we skip we only really stop at chains when we are in the middle of nowwhere and need food and gas- usually we pack in advanced or make sandwiches at the hotel using stuff from farmers markets (or otherwise snack on them) the rest of the time we skip the cities, to avoid traffic. We often make it a point to get to the more famed local food places when we travel, often gives us ideas how we can modify recipes back at home.

I drive back road and scenic bi-ways and avoid most big cities..looking for strangeness, mostly I buy things at farmers markets and cook beside the road... Lan wants to bring a big stick to the negotiation tables..

So if you drove through Kansis City- I have to ask- did you get a bite at Arthur Bryant's? I ask because that place has amazing bbq- and at least for me the best part of traveling is trying the local favorites- been there a couple times when traveling to visit my sister in Colorado, usually we try and dine at as few major chains as possible, it's important to experience places with all 5 senses after all.

Ahh yes bring the piece of super advanced technology with comparatively unfathomable potential military applications that is so far past local technology it more than exemplifies Clark's third law- albiet not to the extent of the first scene of Star Trek: Into Darkness- to a country practically ruled through paranoia- not saying there's much of a better option but More Room's stealth tech - shields (I cant say if she was equipped with the P2P near instant transport system) tractor beam and the fact she is a massive flying object certainly will have an uneasy hand at the negotiating table- though they will help them get there in the first place. There's a darn good reason Wheels was always opposed to the use of space tech on Terra, or at least it's obvious use- its so unfathomably far ahead that it's common use would have all but more advanced societies mistaking them for gods- or as an entity to be feared- not befriended, in this case though- it can provide a little bit of perspective.
