Sad page I know, but not quite the last we see of Janey just yet.
Just to comment on all your views last week, in many ways I'm very relieved that we all agree that at this point at least it's better that they part. I felt Sarah's acceptance would have been a cop-out over an issue that is really so pivotal in any relationship. I know two of my readers at least forgave and managed to deal with it as I think I would myself, but as Royce pointed out that forgiveness would be unlikely to come so easily, so it was nice to show how Sarah's valiant attempt crumbled over the following weeks. This is sad stuff and SS has had enough of that over it's course to not make me want to dwell on the aftermath too much, so this is kind of a summing up of the points I think would have put the most strain on the pair without having to drag it out slowly over many pages. Just a few more pages to go to the end and then we can begin the special Xmas story which hopefully you'll really enjoy.
Anyways, next week we find out how the amicable seperation affects Sarah's friends!

Janey needs a friend she can turn to for support (please don't forget her permanent brain injury) and Claire most certainly ain't it. The only thing Claire was serious about was how much it would hurt Sarah. Really don't believe that the only friends/acquaintances Janey had were co-shared with Sarah (and no, Claire DOES. NOT. COUNT!!)

I think this is the appropriate course of action...I was disappointed in Sarah for taking Janey back, and said so(i think that comment disappeared O.o) and I'm happier with her like this. To me something like this would be a huge betrayal and not only that but remember how Janey reacted when Sarah just kissed Gerry when the girls were broken up? I think this is much more fair to both of them.

Couldn't have said it better than LV. Really, the end of an era. Even if they get back together things will never be the same again. But I do hope they can form it out. In a year or so. Most beautiful and heartbreaking moment so far. Absolutely fantastic!

I hate that they're breaking up. I thought they were a great couple. Perhaps with time will come healing and a realization of what they mean to each other.

Dear Sky,@LV Yes there is hope, but only if BOTH of them want to work at it.I don't see that happening. Don't know exactly how serious Claire was, but she was serious enough to keep up the affair. Janey does see what the affair cost her, but what are her options? Wait it out by her self, hoping Sarah will come around? Or seek a friendly shoulder for some love and affection. I think Janey will look for a friend and Claire is it. On further thought... Yeah, Janey and Sarah don't need a go-between. Don't know how cruel it would be though. As dragonrider points out, Can you imagine Sarah as a Domme? Janey would be much better at it:) Hope to see Nikki again either way.tommym

@DarkVisor Sarah, unless Nikki decides its in hir best interest to be adopted by a Domme who isn't real sure which end wiggles and which end bites. @Tommym Sare already has a new girlfriend, she just doesn't know it yet. The girlfriend isn't, yet.

@Tommym I still think there's hope for Sarah and Janey if they take their time off, grow up, and put some effort into things. I've seen stranger things happen to a relationship. I just don't think Claire was probably ever serious about Janey, and I think Janey is probably at a point where she can open her eyes to what Claire has already cost her and what Claire could continue to cost her down the road. And no...Nikki might not mind being a slave to Sarah and/or Janey, but being a go-between is just cruel on an unnecessary level. The split was amicable, the two don't even -need- a go-between. I get the impression that they can at least keep things civil. Suppose we'll find out down the line though. ~Liz

Dear Sky, Well I was thinking Janey would be fairly lonely and drawn to Claire for more serious reasons than just a sexual fling. (since most people would side with Sarah)Janey is going to really need a friend! And Yes, that would be the last thorn in the side of the relationship. I now believe its the end of Sarah and Janey as the couple we all knew them to be. Sad to say but bad things happen and some people move on. As goes Nikki, I dont see it would be cruel at all. Like me, I am sure Nikki would love to be a slave to a couple of women:) We all watched as she (on her knees) gave foot massages.tommym

I seriously don't think Janey should hook up with Claire. :/ It was never more than a serious of flings to begin with, and if Janey and Sarah are ever to get back together then that is the last thorn the relationship would need in its side. And...no. Nikki doesn't need to be a go-between...that's just unnecessarily cruel to her. x.x Even if she does seem a fairly submissive sort. ~Liz

WATCHING TWILIGHT!?!? Tell me that is at least with the Rifftrax... XD... Seriously, it was bound to happen. Cheating is hurts the trust in a couple, and if there is no trust, there is no foundation for a healthy relationship... and hell, now I sound like Doctor Phill...

Dear Sky, OMG! This really is a surprise for me. I was wrong about Sarah forgiving Janey. Very big turn of events. For better or worse friends often pick sides in a break-up. That said I am sure Sarah will have a lot of support where as Janey can depend on Claire. In fact I think Janey and Claire will hook-up. People talk, Voices carry and and it starts with a whisper.I would love to hear the gossip. In any case I would like to see Nikki in the custody of both girls. She can act as a go between. How long will it take before Sarah'has a new girlfriend? tommym

Very sad, but at least it was amicable (as much as these things can be, considering the reason and all). Butt, as we saw in that page months ago, Sarah doesn't stop caring about and missing (if not loving) Janey

I'm of the opinion that the story is beautifully paced this week. You could have dragged this out for weeks, but instead we've moved on in a clear and believable way. So, single for the first time in their adult lives. Where will this lead us?

The end of an era, so to speak...and it comes early this week! Wow. So sad, though. :( I feel bad for the both of them, it's never an easy time in situations like this, and it is best for them both to have the time apart...but that doesn't mean it's any easier on things. I just hope Janey keeps to her word and continues to have nothing to do with Claire, or, at most, sees Claire just long enough to make sure she knows as much. But as the story isn't in Janey's P.O.V. I doubt we'll see it if she does. I hope Sarah has good support, too. Gerry should be able to provide her with some solid non-romantic friendship now that she has someone herself, and that's what Sarah really needs the most, just someone that can be there without ulterior motives. My best wishes to both the girls, and I still have hope for a happy ending down the line. Call me a romantic sap. :) ~Liz

Wow - early this week! I always click on it as first page in...but don't expect to see it when it's still a.m. here in Oz. Nice page...going as I sort of hoped it would. Panel 5 my favorite on this page. Be good to see where we go from here, now.
