And there's your Xmas link! hehe I know it's not much of one but there we go ;)
And that's all from us for a while I'm afraid. I need to take a break from SS for a while as it's pretty much dominated my life for five years now. I've got to write the script out and think of a whole lot of fun new relationships for Sarah to explore so it should be a good read when we come back. I'll keep you all posted here as to what's going on as the weeks go by, but we probably wont be back until at least the summer.

Hi guys, I had planned on coming back on June 1st but I was a bit slow getting ready and after a few hitches the page was finished too late so it seemed best to get myself back into the old routine again by moving onto the next page and come back all nicely settled. The break was much needed in order to get the story thought out thoroughly and written down before starting on the art. Thanks for all the lovely comments and support you've shown while we've been gone though, it's really lovely:) xxx

OK. I have officially caught up. The summer is coming soon. I'm anxious to see where Sarah's life takes her now after the old chapter is said and done. :)

I cried so much when I read the part of Janey cheating on Sarah and the two of them separating but this whole dream sequence thingy helped to lighten the mood. When I finally decide to check back in, you are on hiatus?! Noooo! I even had to create a new account just to post this. I barely got on my other one, anyway. I only came to read your comic and never bothered to sign in. I guess I'll take another year to check back in. xD Maybe by then, there will be some new development. Hope you're enjoying your break away from Simply Sarah. :]

Sarah, I miss you on ComicFury! I just bought your book recently, because I was having withdrawals. I had no idea “Simply Sarah” was hosted here (and had so many additional pages that aren’t uploaded on CF); I FEEL LIKE A TOOL! I hope you’re enjoying your break! :)

I had a feeling you'd be on hiatus when this chapter was done. I hope you have a nice break and come back to us! Sorry I haven't had a chance to log in and comment but I have been checking it on every update day, and I love the way you've ended this chapter. Can't wait to see where life takes Sarah next. But in the meantime, have a lovely break :)

Aww thankyou so much guys. I've felt so drained this last week I just didn't want to even come near the site, I've felt so chained to it up to Christmas. That's no disrespect to you guys, just the feeling that it was dominating every day by drawing and inking. It's the first time I've actually enjoyed doing the final pages though as I've had pretty much the same adrenalin rush you get at the start of making one. As Aida says the rest will do me good and it will give me time to play with ideas rather than just forcing the story along. The story behind Richards death was already planned out last summer and I did run over it with Lunaris as she really knows me so well and I wanted her to help me thrash out the inconsistencies in detail that might have ruined it. That alone is going to be fairly gripping reading, but I'm also going to have a lot of fun relating real life dating experiences of my own through Sarah which should also be both interesting and entertaining in the same realistic and down to earth way the comic mostly has been. Thank you all for these lovely posts. You guys always have been and always will be our biggest incentive in keeping this going. :)

This has been such a great read, I'll miss it while it's gone. I'll definitely be looking forward to the new adventures next summer though. Thanks for sharing your work with us.

Thanks. I think I've been following this for some years too, and have enjoyed it very much. It's sad you're going hiatus, but taking distance for a while keeps your interest on, and that's what writes the best stories. :)

So Sarah can now remember her live before the age of fifteen? ;-) This Christmas story has been . . . good. Weird at times, funny at others, yet overall moving the story along. Thanks for writing it, enjoy your break and I'm looking forward to seeing you back in the summer.

Been a bit busy the last few days to comment but this is some of your best work. Twisty plot, gorgeous artwork. Just one other thing: Any chance of catching Sarah's mum in the bath?
