@BearinOz: lol strange how the U.S. (still a relatively young country) has become the Ornery Old Grandpa of the World, refusing to change... The metric system really is so much easier and intuitive (I learned to use it well while in Spain)! Well... at least we do use it now to measure Medicine dosage (that's kinda important)!

...and I'll be long-dead before you "seppos" start using the metric system KimL - the "Poms" have been fighting it and they've been in the E.C. since before I left ! B-) ...It was already in place when I came to Oz in '80 - gallons had long disappeared from servos, whereas they were still displayed when I visited the "old country" a few times. What makes me laugh is you non-metric people can't even standardise your gallons and stuff ! B-)

Sorry KimL , but UK ( and Australia etc. ) drive on the CORRECT side. Just because a handful of colonials and the pope decided to change that, a century or two ago, didn't mean everyone had to follow suit (unless they were a Catholic country ) - which is why Thailand and Japan never did ! B-)

hehe Lucy enjoying her own company - now that I can really relate to :D... I swear, though, I'll never get used to the cars and driving in your homeland - everything is on the wrong side... Scared me to death when I visited... Tell you what! If you Brits start driving on the correct side of the road, we 'mericans will start using the metric system!! :D

Bear: I was about to load the page sat morning in a hurry and noticed a big blank number plate staring at me so I had to think pretty fast! lol I know it's prob not at all legal here but what the hell! ;) ........................................................................................................................... Kim and DV : I have rather let my hair down with Lucy. I wanted her to be erratic, well meaning and fun but also a girl with a strong sense of identity who's not only a one woman party but just as happy in her own company most of the time. This makes her very frustrating to Sarah because she really wants Lucy to make the first move all the time and yet feels the pressure is on her to make the first move instead. :)

Another well done page - that first panel... wow! Lucy's being slightly flippant, but maybe she's just an obliviously talkative girl... I have a tinge of fear we may have a bait-and-switch here...! Or maybe you're doing a reverse on us - making us worry a bit haha... Either way, you really do a great job with all the fascinating permutations that go in to relationships!

A bit of "artistic licence" with the number plate, since you can't do that over there (only "looks-a-bit-like" ones, but you need numbers and rules) Which is why I used "105ERS" for Phil's kombi in B.E. B-) Here you get great ones like "GGTEEF" ( a local horse dentist ) and "WAS HIS" - a porsche belonging to a divorce lawyer up the highway B-) I wished you Happy Birthday on Faceache, but "Ditto" O.K. !?
