Love all the fine art references. I never would have figured out the girl in the dress. He sounds like a character! If there's one word that describes your artwork, it's "sensuous."

Bear: Haha yes, it started out as a rude pear but then it reminded me of that art piece in Clockwork Orange too so I was going to change it but when I googled it it turned out to be a dick instead so I left it as it was. :)

Tess: Haha The original last line for this page was Sarah saying' 'well at last we've touched at last!' but then I did the additional movie page and ruined it! ........................................................................................................................... DV: I would never be so cruel to Nikki! lol I think Perry possibly goes out of his way to exagerrate his personality for publicity reasons. He also rides around his home town on a tricycle and carries a doll dressed in the same outfit as himself!

Kim: It was inspired by an old 70's sepia photo I came across on my travels by a photographer called Bob Veze as part of a spread for a mens mag. I didn't realsie how much Grayson looked like Mia Farrow until you mentioned it! lol So that's a curious coincidence!

Our anonymous reader is correct, it is in fact Grayson Perry an English artist who is mostly famous here for his ceramic vases and cross-dressing. He hit the headlines a few years ago when he won the Turner Prize and turned up at the awrads ceremony wearing a dress very similar to the one he's wearing here.

Yes, I'm back on The Duck! I've been reading this comics for years and then stopped commenting, but I enjoy the story and I've been a quiet reader for quite a while :) Will make sure to comment more often. I'm actually not very fond of Lucy, at first she seemed like a cool one, but now I'm not so sure anymore (especially after last page). We'll see.

Great stuff!! I love the interactions here...! I also like how they're just letting all this happen slowly, organically... I recognized the Warhol painting instantly, but the two girls yin-yanging (top left)... what painting is that? If that's an original of yours you need to do a full page version :D And I recognize that blonde girl from the movie theater (I think)... So Mia Farrow...? or a stalker? hehe...
