Cool. Yeah, I've heard pantyhose just called "hose" too. I'm in Tennessee and never heard "hosepipe" but like I said, I find these little differences neat.

Jon71: Over here the term 'hose' on it's own is often used too One might easily say 'I'll get the hosepipe' as they would say 'I'll use the hose' It's also a posh term for women's stockings and tights.

Dear Sky, DV... I was guessing lucy had m-to-f surgery or she has a secret and needs to build trust jon71 I believe it is mostly autobiographical with other charactors based on real people...btw they do make bikinis with pull out padding so one can achieve the wet t-shirt look :) tommym

@jon71: Depends on what part of the U.S... Were I'm from we say 'Hosepipe' all the time... Not gonna say exactly where I live but I will say that the word "Y'all" is used alot ;)

Dear Sky, I can understand how Sarah feels a bit out of the loop . yet she is being told about it now. will venture a guess... Lucy transitioned and bonded with Nikki very easiely Psychologically Sarah knows Nikki was/is male from birth .at the same time Sarah accepets Lucy as a Woman since Sarahs initial view of Lucy is as a woman. Hence Sarah might very well be in for three big surprises...:) tommym

The "trouble" with the story writing itself, for me, is that I have a "skeleton" plot, covering about 12 years, which I thought I would do in about maybe 240 pages.....It shows 266 published so far(C.F.); there are 30-odd "buffered" ready on the laptop and I'm perhaps half-way through, or a little less. I guess that does mean more fun for me, as I DO so enjoy doing the panels for it ...but I won't live forever !!! B-)

I find the little differences in language to be neat. In America it would just be "hose", not "hosepipe". I'm loving the story and look forward to next week. One of these days I'd love to know what all is autobiographical and what isn't. I'm betting a lot of other fans would love to know as well.

Kim!! You're always so intuitive to the individual characters feelings which is one aspect that makes your own story such compelling reading! Yea, I figured that from Sarah's point of view she probably would feel hurt that Nikki confided something personal in Lucy (who she's only just met!) after telling Sarah she doesn't want to talk about it. And secondly, being as Nikki confessed to Sarah how much she likes Lucy it must feel a little unsettling to know they are both having cosy chats behind Sarah's back. :)

DV: Sarah will confront Nikki about that very soon. As for the transparent top lol I can't imagine they make swimsuits like that but perhaps cold water might bring out a little more detail.;)

Bear: I'm not sure about you but I've heard others say that after a while the story just starts tp write itself. The more I look at each situation through a different characters eyes I see possibilities that seem unique to them and it's lovely how ideas overlap in the writing to create even more new ideas.It just becomes a question of deciding which path to follow.

Totally unexpected...! And intriguing!! And I'm getting the feeling Sarah may just be a touch... I dunno... hurt is too strong a word... that Nikki confided 'deep stuff' to Lucy without doing so with her! Perhaps it's more 'like that' than even she knows...?? Can't wait till the next page (though I don't feel I'll be as surprised with what's gonna happen... this time) :D
