One thing that kills my passion for doing art more than anything is having too many scenes in one setting and although I felt this was a page worth doing I wasn't inspired enough by the store to do anything exciting and I think it shows! lol I did enjoy doing the customer though and Becky's colouring as always has lifted the page from looking totally dull!
Next week: Sarah goes to Lucy's house to meet her parents and is in for even more surprises concerning this strange and beguiling young woman!

Nice technique, using the slow zoom to create tension. Being a cartoonist is sort of like being a director... except without all the money (or any, for that matter).

Yeah, nothing wrong with the page at all, but I DO know the feeling. I call them "filler pages" - you don't _really_ feel like doing them, but they have to go in, to move the story along. Trouble is, sometimes, I put them off and put them off, and I'm like 20 pages ahead with newer stuff and suddenly realise they need to go up tomorrow !!! B-)

Oooooo the paranoia is kicking in!! Doubting her girl and her good friend...!! Poor Sarah!! It's so weird how these thought can take you into your own world so easy... And there's not always bloody Old Ladies to bring you back! Anyway, good job at making the single setting interesting!

Something tells me there is something 'unusual' with Lucy's parents, that's why she was able to talk to Nikki about it. Agree with MGH: nothing 'dull' about this page (always enjoy seeing into Sarah's 'psyche' like this), and old bats like that annoy me (although, Sarah could have put up a sign saying that the counter was closed)

Hahaha The lady really cracked me up :D Poor Sarah's going nuts. It's understandable, though. Really looking forward to seeing Lucy's family. My guess is Nikky's helping Lucy with some issues Lucy is afraid of facing with Sarah. That would explain a lot. Anyway, the page is not dull at all, I enjoy the close-ups, they add to the mounting intensity and anger Sarah's going through! And that lady's response was a very comical release :)
