SS5 160 Things come to a head!
skyangel on Aug. 20, 2016
The story so far:
Having lodged with the Cranberrys for some months, Sarah has become very curious about the couples strangely secret nights out in which she babysits the children. Her adventurous friend Jenny, who also happens to be a policewoman, recently suggested they follow them to find out and after tracking them to a quiet industrial estate, Jenny informs Sarah that the area has been noted as a meeting place for public sex games!
Has Sarah been too quick to judge? Find out next week ;)

Dear Sky, From some of your comments Sky, it looks like the end of the line for Sarah and the Cranberrys. Hope Sarah moves in with Lucy, maybe have a side relationship with Lauras ghost:) tommym

DV: veryyyyyyy clever! On my laptop it is still small but it clearly looks like a :) to me. At least now you've done all the hard work I can just copy paste it as I wish! ;) ☺

Tommym: In the original script Sarah blurts out that she knows, because they followed her but the page became quite wordy so I settled for the accusation as a starter. I cringe to think just how big Sarah could make this hole for herself if she doesn't calm down. lol

Barry: Thanks. Often when I draw panels that are seen from odd perspectives like that, I find it hard to judge how the background perspective should relate, so normally I'll sketch several rough lines before deciding between what looks okay and what just looks really weird!
skyangel at 1:19AM, Aug. 21, 2016
Fred: That's how I felt myself. Sarah's really put her foot in it but having seen how judgmental and homophobic Mrs Cranberry is I think Sarah would be better off leaving anyway.
skyangel at 1:17AM, Aug. 21, 2016
Phantom: It wont indeed! :)
skyangel at 1:16AM, Aug. 21, 2016
Infected: Sarah's very good at making rash decisions that backfire on her, going right back to the days when she threw her eraser at Stacey in school and missed giving Stacey the chance to prove how much better her own aim was. ;)
skyangel at 1:13AM, Aug. 21, 2016
Tupapayon: Haha Although I checked one of the sites out I didn't really think about the sort of person who might do this sort of thing but it would be interesting to know what age group mostly went for this.
skyangel at 1:10AM, Aug. 21, 2016
Kim: I can just imagine how awkward it will feel for Mrs Cranberry to say,'we're going out for the evening' in future, and Sarah saying 'have a nice time' when they're both acutely aware that Sarah knows.
skyangel at 12:59AM, Aug. 21, 2016
Bear: Sarah tends to boil up fast when she's rattled! lol
DarkVisor at 7:16PM, Aug. 20, 2016
And once again, Sarah shows consistency: growing a spine in defence of her friends ☺ (eeee, the smiley trick works here as well, still have to figure out if it's a :) or :P type smiley, poor little thing is too small to see :()
DarkVisor at 7:10PM, Aug. 20, 2016
No, don't believe Sarah is judging, quick or otherwise, will be interesting if the Cranberry's are into the _other_ kind of 'dogging', the Vick-style ... Regardless of what they really were up to, doing it at night in an abandoned (as in, after hours, not derelict) carpark _is_ something dodgy
tommym at 2:19PM, Aug. 20, 2016
Dear Sky, Not surprising those comments by Cranberry. I got the feeling Mrs.Cranberry may not have know it was Sarah in the car. But now Sarah lets the cat out of the bag with that Dogging comment. Cranberry must now know it was Sarah who followed them.I can hear Mrs.Cranberry asking in anger "And how do you know about that young lady?" tommym

Really nice variations in camera angles. Especially like the body language in the last panel. Seen from a slight worm's eye view, it's very effective. She can kiss that job good-bye, of course.
fredhedges at 1:37PM, Aug. 20, 2016
I love it that Sarah is standing up for herself, sort of, but I'm afraid she's putting her foot in her mouth again. I think she needs to look at moving on, despite her affection for the kids; that rank homophobia is not something I would like to live around.
Phantomduck at 12:00PM, Aug. 20, 2016
This won't end well.
Infected Blood at 9:43AM, Aug. 20, 2016
I have a strong feeling Sarah is judging too quickly... Regardless, although I understand she's upset and defensive, I also think that's a bad way of responding.
tupapayon at 8:36AM, Aug. 20, 2016
LOL... she kinda looks like a 'doggy style' woman... I'll just sit here and wait for the next page...
KimLuster at 6:37AM, Aug. 20, 2016
Hooo Boy!! Did Sarah just say that...?!! *Reads again* Yup, she did!! Wouldn't it be something if it was true...!! Well, whatever happens, it's gonna take some verbal acrobatics for Sarah to save her job, I bet...
BearinOz at 4:55AM, Aug. 20, 2016
Well !...I wasn't expecting her to blurt that out like that ! Ooh-er. Long wait 'til next week now ! B-)
