Tommym: Haha yea lucy's always very cheeky but it does seem she has a point this time and doesn't feel the paper boy deserves to get the blame. I think it probably shows that Lucy doesn't take her job too seriously either. 'The customer is always right' is an incorrect adage which was disproved way back in 1914 yet amazingly has stood the test of time far longer than it ever should have. In essence we all understand the idea behind it but if every customer we served told us they gave us a twenty pound note when you know they gave you a ten and you didn't protest, the shop wouldn't stay open very long. ;)

DV: I think at this point, Sarah is torn between her gut feelings about Laura and the house and what Nikki said about her letting her imagination run away with her. So far everything that's happened physically seems explainable and all the really creepy stuff has just been in Sarah's own mind. She's also been warned not to bring Laura up any more so I imagine she might hesitate about discussing her fears at this stage.

Tupapayon: Haha I did write a short ghost story a few years back, based on the idea of the heroine sleeping with a ghost thinking it was her partner but I never thought of that angle!

Kim: That's very true. Sarah's very practical though and when she explains her reasons for returning in next Sat's page it will hopefully seem more understandable. Lucy's lines btw are a corruption of Delbert Grady's from the Shining, I'm not sure how many people realised that though. lol

STR: My very first comic efforts were always short stories of about six pages long and I enjoyed doing those as I've always loved short tales in the style of Somerset Maugham which are based on real life. So I have considered doing an anthology along those lines lately which is something I can do at a more leisurely pace. I did start a script for a Jane Blonde/ Prisoner type spoof as well which would be nice to get out of my system.

Bear: ooooh yea, The Others is a great film. I tried watching it again a couple of months ago though and remembering how it ends rather ruined it for me the second time around.

tommym: what lecture? Lucy simply, very politely, informed the hubby that maybe he should keep an eye on her before she makes any other orders while drunk, and she said it in a way to not cause offense or embarrassment

Dear Sky, Lucy is being very bold to lecture that guy about his drunk wife. She must be to young to remember the adage "The customer is always right":) Anyway I think Sarah is going to feel a bit foolish telling Lucy "Well your house is haunted and Laura's ghost comes after me" Then again maybe Lucy has seen strange things but was afraid to say anything. Well... there was just no way to avoid this awkward moment!! I hate when there's no totally right decision to make!! But... life is full of them!! Sare is gonna have to tell Lucy her fears, and... let the chip fall where they may!! One of the hardest things in the world to do... That said, it's good to see the Lucy we first met here - I love her sauciness in the top two panels!!
