SS6 17 The Curse of Carlingford 4
skyangel on Feb. 18, 2017
The story so far:
Since moving into the family home of her girlfriend Lucy, Sarah is convinced the house is haunted. At first she assumed it was Lucy's previous partner who died there in mysterious circumstances but now she is not so sure! An old couple who live nearby are telling Sarah about the strange legend that surrounds the house.
It has been a very busy week for me so I have been late in replying to the comments on last weeks page, but I have responded now. Interestingly enough, I see there was quite a nice discussion about small living going on and by coincidence we only just watched a docu about that very thing last night on Netflix!
Next week: Lenore seeks justice…and possibly revenge!

I'd prefer slow, Barry, bit each to his own... B-)
skyangel at 10:03AM, Feb. 22, 2017
Bear: Haha I'll spread it over 3 pages to be sure. ;)
BarryCorbett at 8:40AM, Feb. 21, 2017
Wow, that is dark. Beautifully illustrated and colored, as usual. Hope the revenge is swift and painful!
skyangel at 10:02AM, Feb. 22, 2017
Thanks Barry, It will be pretty swift and definitely painful. ;)

I'm such a wuss. I get completely sucked in to a well-told story, and I'm just sitting here horrified. Kudos to our author, but ugh...
skyangel at 4:28AM, Feb. 21, 2017
Fred: Haha He did warn you that it wasn't a story for the faint hearted! For Lenore to exact the revenge that she does though, it felt the crime should be something worthy of such retaliation.
Phantomduck at 8:24PM, Feb. 18, 2017
May God have mercy on his soul, because Lenore certainly won't.
skyangel at 4:28AM, Feb. 21, 2017
You've nailed it there Phantom ;)

Dear Sky, This is very sad,and in real life this type of action has been going on for thousands of years. Mans violence knows no bounds. Great color and action in top panel, like how Raven the bird is fighting back, Raven the women probably lost child. tommym

Tommym: It's strange how things work out, as originally I just liked the idea of Lenore being a gypsy as it made her life seem both mysterious and romantic. I needed her child to die though for the revenge ahead to be justified, so thinking that gypsies have always been resented and despised by a large section of society really played into my hands.

At least he likes animals.
DarkVisor at 4:44AM, Feb. 25, 2017
That's because he identifies as one

BearinOz at 3:01AM, Feb. 18, 2017
The cliche' Victorian-era bad-bastard Lord of the manor - does he twitch his 'tache ? B-) Just kiddin'! Lovely rich page, visually.
skyangel at 3:24AM, Feb. 18, 2017
Bear: haha You were quick off the mark this week! I'm still replying to last weeks comments!! I know what you mean and I should cringe I know but it was such fun making him a total bastard, I couldn't resist! ;)
