May just be me, but the female in the pink dress on our right in the wedding photo looks to be an adult, just a very small adult, rather than a little girl like the one's on our left ... Is that Peter Dinklage in the background, behind the little girl in white?

DV: No, haha that's just down to a crummy bit of art on my part! I draw all my pages on photo copier size paper (A4 in the UK) so if you are looking at this page full size on your screen then that's the size of the original art. Because of this, I often edit smaller details on my laptop after scanning as I then have the advantage of a greatly enlarged page to work with. I could re-edit the panel but the diversity angle is a lovely idea so I'll let that be the jury's verdict! :)

For some reason, I can imagine as the artist that finding new ways to draw that huge manison must feel sort of boring sometimes. Its the usual drill when drawing an established scene sort of thing lol. I remember that from drawing that darn cafe over and over... At least you're keeping it great and you're always amazing on those perspective shots of yours! As for the comic, I sort of see where this is going... I don't know, hiding the truth from your daughter that she's dating her half-sister... I mean, its a tough choice to make. Depending if he found out before or AFTER the kids started dating.

Udyr: It was after you told me about using Sketch-up to create your cafe scenes that I downloaded a copy and built Carlingford, and I'm indebted to you for that but I wish sometimes I'd made the place more interesting architecturally! The fun has gone out of drawing the place a bit for sure as I had a real party when I first built it flying all round and looking at it from diff angles. Interestingly though the perspective doesn't always work as I hope so like the first panel on the previous page of the lion statue and gate were just sketched from mind rather than screen, especially as my only ref for the lion statues is a head on 2D one anyway. ............................................................... I won't comment on the story as you'll find out anyway in the next couple of weeks :)

Fred: Becky's done a superb job of colouring this page and the middle two are my faves here for that reason as I especially love how she's brought those to life so beautifully.

Kim: Haha yes, if I can't get excited about the art it feels a real ordeal to do the page so I try to keep it as interesting for myself as well as the readers. Worst thing with this section is that it's really all talk and no action so I have my work cut out!

I must be slow this morning, Dark'..."maroon kipper" was a 'blank' for about a minute. Which is odd,'cause it's the kind of thing I do all the time, even in my comic ! Nice one ! B-) ..and yeah, old Quoth is guarding along with the lions there.

Dear Sky, Well its not the first time someone stayed in a marriage for money or got married for money. Ron learned a lesson; money can get you love, but love can't get you money. Over here in the States there is no amount of money that's obscene. On Wall Street the mantra is "greed is good" and "more is not enough" Very nice wedding scene. It takes work and a lot of give and take to make a marriage work. tommym
