Hey, its been a while now since weve been on DrunkDuck so thought id write a little bit about our little duo act, Luke Matt (cutting the custard)
Me (luke) was the original creator of Checkout boy with CB starting out over 2 years ago being based on a friends nerdy brother. However the art work was primitive and the jokes lacklusture, so i gave up.
Then, a bolt of lightening hit me……nah just kidding….i just decided to have another go at writing and drawing new material which, i began to like. Then my good friend Matt (funny guy) got wind of what i was doing and wanted in. His south park like influences created some 50% of all CB scripts with me doing the art work. This partnership of writing our own separate episodes has worked a treat, as it offers more diversity and slightly different styles of humor which has hopefully kept Checkout Boy fresh for all 24 epsiodes.
Were now jointly working on Diagnosis Hinkleman, a newish, jewish, crazy, sexist, womanizing, under qualified doctor which will hopefully gather some momentum over coming weeks.
