so, my names mel. i like comics and graphic novels, though i would think thats fairly obvious, and some of my favourites of those include The Umbrella Academy, written by Gerard Way, and Wild Adapter by Minekura Kazuya.

my most treasured possession is my ipod mini - i would wither and die without music. i play piano, mostly classical, but bands some of my favourite bands are Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday and Lostprophets. Matchbox Twenty is my favourite band of all time, and i like Rob Thomas solo stuff too.

im currently in highschool, and i love art and english lit. i decided to give up on maths after i pretty much failed last year.

i like to read. proper books, too, not just graphic novels. elizabeth haydon and laurell k. hamilton are two of my favourite authors. so is lee child. i love stephens kings dark tower series, and recently found a hardback graphic novel volume which contained the entire series of the gunslinger born comics, which id been looking for for some time.

uhm, what else. movies? i have to say ive got fairly eclectic taste - i like sin city, disneys beauty and the beast, disturbia, jeepers creepers, cry wolf, resident evil (all three), eight crazy nights, and predator I II, just to name a few.
