Once upon a time there lived a twenty-something girl with a lot of talents and no drivers license. She lived off nostalgia in her hometown in Western Massachusetts, which is as close to a fairy tale countryside as New England can get. She worked part-time as a bookstore clerk and a substitute librarian and filled her free (and work) hours with books and art. She also told and wrote stories.

One day she decided to start posting some of her story-art in a mystical place called the internet…

It is a universal truth that all young women face changes in adolescence. Some of those changes are well-known. Others involve transformation into living fire or invulnerability. Also, telepathic koala-things.
