Peek-a-Boo! Hi, just wanted to say hi!

Myotis at 7:26AM, Feb. 26, 2008

Okay, if you say so. XD That's cool. It's hard for me to imagine a strong punch, 'cause I don't think I've ever done one. I've been hit with plenty, though. >.< My best friend's awesome with throws and takedowns too, but he got his from a different art...I forget which. >.> Heheh, sounds like you've got your brother owned. XD

Myotis at 11:37PM, Feb. 24, 2008

Just cleared Shadow Hearts: From the New World...God, that final battle was one heck of a brawl. X.X Sounds like I'm going to have to look into Jukado. Pretty much any form of martial arts will get my attention, but less heard of ones interest me even more. XD Tae Kwon Do was great while I still could go...Thanks to it, I learned how my best combat style is. My punches are fast and accurate, but rather weak. My kicks, however, are on the slow side, but direct and powerful. When I actually had to use it, it kind of went like this: Right punch, left punch, enemy off balance, right side kick, knocked down, end. XD I don't know why he started it, and I don't like hurting people, but it was kinda fun. :P I actually took what I learned and tried to develop my own style, which is fun, but I don't think I'm getting anywhere. For some reason, when I try to come up with a new technique, I picture a spider, and I come up with something revolving around the number eight...I've always admired them, but I never thought they'd be my inspiration in fighting. >.>

Myotis at 3:18PM, Feb. 24, 2008

I took Tae Kwon Do, but I didn't make it very far before time and money constraints kicked in. >.< My master said I had the highest attributes of the class and everything...man, I miss that... Fortunately, my best friend and I are thinking about joining a place that teaches multiple forms...don't know which we're gonna do yet, though. Wow, your friend sounds tough. XD For some reason I get interested in sparring with someone when I hear about their ability...And I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I don't think I've heard of Jukado. What's it like? As for the secret video...was it by any chance about three armored people taking on two enemies? That's the one about the prequel in work, if it is. I think it's gonna be better than the others. :P

Myotis at 8:55PM, Feb. 22, 2008

Agh, I hate it when I do stuff like that. XD Happened to me with a really important assignment once...not a happy ending. >.< About Kingdom Hearts...I loved how there were all those Final Fantasy characters in it, but not how they warped them. Yeah, I can't stand most Disney stuff...I love the Nightmare Before Christmas, though. Like I said, my biggest issue with that game is the anti-dark issue. It's like everyone is unified by the light or something but nobody except Riku once tried to understand the dark, and here's Sora hating the dark with every fiber of his being just because he was told it was bad. Yeah, I don't like a lot of the story elements. Hopefully he'll grow up some in the third... Punching bag. Now that I could use. XD I need the exercise, too...maybe I should buy one. I'm glad my brother and I don't get into physical fights...he has no regard for other people in any sense of the word, he's one of those people who'll kill someone and use the excuse of being called a name. Plus, I took my martial arts training seriously, and I'd rather not use that on anyone. Sorry you have to deal with that, though. Your brother sounds like someone I wouldn't be able to get within a few feet of. >.> Sounds like you've got a lot to deal with. I feel stupid for this, but I think all I can say is hang in there, and it'll be awesome when it's over. :P

Myotis at 5:31PM, Feb. 19, 2008

Actually, I think negativity is healthier than being foolishly optimistic all the time. What I mean is, if you're always optimistic, all you expect are good things. When something goes wrong, you're totally unprepared for it, and it's devastating. However, when you allow that negativity in, sure, you don't see the bright side of things, but at least you're prepared for the worst, right? Really though, it's best to balance them both out, but that's really, really hard. >.< It's like that thing you see in all the storylines today..."We're denizens of the light! Let's go heartlessly slaughter people with different views than us, because they like the dark, and we don't understand the first thing about it so it must be evil!" ...Yeah. In case you can't tell, some of Kingdom Hearts' characters are on my bad side. Well, them and countless other characters. >.< Anyway...I think I'd rather ski, snowboarding doesn't look like something I could get into. Hopefully, you'll rule at it. XD Good lord, I remember when mine went through that. -.- He repeatedly jumped from liking me to not depending on who was with us...that little brat. Though I can't call him little any more, he's about 5 years younger yet almost a foot taller than me. O.o Well, you already know I go on like that too. It's just a way of venting, I guess. Hey, rather we rant than beat the crap out of somebody, right? XD

Myotis at 7:29PM, Feb. 18, 2008

Really? That's reassuring, then. XD Now you've got me interested. I need to see what I can do about learning it... Gah, I'm probably going to say the same thing if my brother does that. >.< He's always such a callous, insensitive, uncaring ass to me. He inadvertently makes it constantly care that my thoughts, feelings, and opinions aren't worth crap to him. This is even worse when his friend is around; it's like nothing regarding me matters because of that person's existence. Don't get me wrong, now...his friend's a good guy, and I don't have anything against him. I don't understand why he does that when he's around. What's worse, when he isn't there, my brother's always hounding me to play Monster Hunter and World of Warcraft and the like with him all the time, claiming he likes playing with me, when in truth it's only because I'm the only one around. ...Wow, I'm full of contempt today. O.o Sorry about that.

Myotis at 9:38AM, Feb. 18, 2008

I think that's one reason why I haven't wanted a license yet- I don't wanna cart my brother & his friends everywhere. He and his best friend actually tried to get me to buy a lighter for them once because I was legal...my response: Not a chance in hell. XD Skiing sounds fun...hopefully my klutz gene won't kick in and I won't crash into anything. :P

Myotis at 9:30PM, Feb. 17, 2008

w00t, my book came in. XD Yeah, the letters get on my nerves too, but nowhere near as much as the military ones. They kinda freak me out. >.> As a matter of fact I've gotten some religious ones lately. Now THAT was odd. Jeez, sounds like you've got a lot of work to do, huh...and to think I haven't bothered driving yet. Now I feel foolish. XD Ah, well...I don't care for it, but I suppose it IS a necessity, so I gotta get to it soon. I do hope that art show goes well for you, though! Too bad your vacation isn't as good as it could be. I keep wishing we could get back into going up there each year, but it's been like 7 or so years since then. Guess if we go, I'll have to pay. >.<

Myotis at 5:17PM, Feb. 17, 2008

Heh, stingy, huh? Mine's like that too. XD The thing is, he hordes his stuff away, but expects us to share with him all the time. PS2 is my favorite system by the way. I have sooo much fun with that machine. XD Wow, I didn't notice until today how much planing I have to do...I gotta recondition myself for when I start college (I'm just not used to schoolwork anymore. O.o), Gotta save up money for admission fees and whatnot...argh, what a headache. >.< It actually makes me miss going to the old school.

Myotis at 4:22AM, Feb. 14, 2008

That happened with us when we had those hurricane problems a year or two ago. I know how that feels. >.< I'm doing pretty well...I just bought an Xbox off my brother for $25. XD I was also finally able to finish my testing registration...so I can get that over with soon and get going to college. ...That's gonna be an endurance run. :P You'd think I'd be okay with papers like that, but writing's not fun for me when it's an assignment. Especially when I have to follow the assigner's rules by the book. So, godspeed with that. Hopefully it won't take too long...I can't stand long homework. Or homework in general for that matter. XD

Myotis at 8:39AM, Feb. 11, 2008

Yeah, the internet's weird like that. XD Those of us who are quiet in reality are chatterboxes online. :P Geez, that sounds rough. Like I said, I like it cold, but I agree with you there; that's just too much. Sorry you had to deal with that. It's funny how people who do nothing but hurt others end up failures or strugglers in the end, huh? Serves 'em right! XD

Myotis at 2:52PM, Feb. 10, 2008

Oh, that sounded fun...now I really wish we got snow. >.< Glad you had a good time, though! My family used to go to Maine every summer, but not anymore, sadly. I've been wanting to go in the wintertime, but that hasn't worked out so far. Maybe sometime soon, but who knows? It's ironic how even though I try to avoid attention the curious ones always seem to give it to me anyway. See, I'm really quite most of the time, despite how verbose I am online. Apparently that makes people notice you more...it's really annoying. So, I know what you mean there. About that...the strange thing is, I have extreme difficulty opening up to new people, but I didn't with you. I don't know why, but I'm glad! But yeah, I definitely get you about the kind of people that change their very being just to fit it. It's sad, really. I've been turned on countless times by people like that, who are more concerned with other's perceptions of them rather than their individuality. ...And there's my spiteful side for you. :P Okay, but that group you mentioned...that's ridiculous. I know people in general go through their own 'stupid phases', but those types are just fools, to me. From what you said, I'd gather they got what's they deserved. XD Oh, and I'm pretty familiar with Deviantart, I've got an account but nothing on it. >.> Still, that's a good idea. I got my book, so if I feel I need to test the story first, I'll try that. Sorry for talking to much. >.<

Myotis at 12:49PM, Feb. 9, 2008

Wow, natural ability is just amazing. XD That's kind of how my classmates react to my writing. It's because I work too fast in school, and as a result I get bored. When I'm bored, I either play or write, and playing games isn't exactly a good idea in school, obviously. :P And of course, people get curios when they see someone vigorously writing something down when the teacher didn't instruct it. I'm not surprised, considering I don't like doing most assignments either. However, in the schools I've gone too, insults like 'gay' and such are flung around at the slightest deviation from the norm, so I tend to be a bit untrusting and nervous when they ask me about it. >.< You're probably done skiing by the time you get this, so: I hope you had a good time. XD

Myotis at 1:23AM, Feb. 9, 2008

That's terrible...my brother is similar to that in a verbal sense, but he never physically hurts anyone, though he threatens to...sometimes I think someone needs to smack him up or something. He's pretty awful to my mom sometimes, but other than that he can be a nice guy. But that's scary...I wish I could help, somehow. Anyway, you can imagine how surreal it felt when you said you lived in Maine. XD On a lighter note...I might be getting an art book or two today to help me understand how to draw better. I've always loved drawing ever since I was in elementary school, but my skill never improved. >.< Seriously, though: That doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't he get help for his own family? People really confuse me sometimes.

Myotis at 10:37PM, Feb. 7, 2008

Oh, I love the snow so much! I'm envious now, because I live in Florida...it gets way to hot here. :P I've only seen snow once, and that was around 15 or so years ago...up in Maine, which is my favorite state. Ironically that's where my dad's from. >.< Geez, you should see the people over here when the temperature is only slightly below hot...they start whining of freezing to death. I adore the cold...so much that whoever steps into my room starts shivering, and I wonder what their problem is. XD But about the virus issue- I feel for you there. Once, we got one that made all of the icons on the desktop run away from the cursor. It was kinda funny, actually. But, here's me hoping it goes well for you. And thank you for the sympathy; I really appreciate that! Oh, and if it helps at all, then by all means, rant away. XD

Chaz McRich at 11:36AM, Feb. 7, 2008

Thanks for the add chum!

Myotis at 5:47PM, Feb. 6, 2008

Good lord, that sounds a lot like my dad. O.O He was a scourge on our household, only partially due to his horrid way of living- wake up, eat everyone's leftovers, download porn and such all day, refuse to help pay for bills, sleep, repeat. My little brother and I had a really hard time getting permission to go online, making it seem as if we were the ones being a pestilence on him, when he had the only computer in the house with an internet connection. And when something went wrong due to his faulty tampering with the system and we tried to get help, he'd keep screaming about how the problem was the sites we went to, saying that they were made by 'kids that don't know what they're doing' over and over again. I swear, anything regarding anything he was not would get him going for hours. My mom's job, my brother's friends, my long hair and games, all that stuff. I'm sooo glad he can't come near us anymore. XD Sorry for the mega-rant, though. And that sucks about your computer. With the exception of my newest one, almost all of ours have been doomed to failure in some way or another, so I know how you feel.

Myotis at 5:03PM, Feb. 5, 2008

Fortunately, no, it's not Day of Revolution I meant, but a manga/anime related to it called Princess Princess. It was silly, and ridiculously funny. XD Day of Revolution is very interesting; it's about a high schooler named Kei who, after getting examined after falling unconscious one day, finds that he is in fact genetically female. ...You can imagine her surprise. :P She decides to take about 6 months off from school to have his body made how it was supposed to, and gets scared to death about anyone she knew finding out. She changes her name to Megumi and everything, but her old friends still find out pretty quickly. XD

Myotis at 2:22PM, Feb. 5, 2008

As it turns out, the whole thing came from me straining myself training yesterday. Funny how I didn't find out till the next day. >.< Okay, that seriously sounds like a manga I'd like. After my orders come in, and assuming I've enough cash left, I'll see if the store has any of it. But isn't that almost always the case with books? The movies never seem to compare. XD On a side note, I managed to find the anime that comes after the manga I was after, so that was cool. I will say however that that has got to be the biggest target for yaoi fanfiction I've ever seen, though.

Myotis at 2:50AM, Feb. 5, 2008

Argh...I just woke up to find my head aching, my back feeling torn, and my heartbeat so loud I can't hear anything else. I hate that. :P Combat Butler, huh? Can't say I've heard of that, and judging from what you said, it's probably a good thing. XD I've seen ads and such for Blame!, but I never thought to give it a try. What's it like? Regarding Stephen King; I don't remember reading any of his works, but I did watch some of the movies based of them with my family, and I liked what I saw. If I can find any of the books, I'll have to check them out. But yeah, I'd highly recommend Shin Megami Tensei, especially Persona 3.

Myotis at 4:50PM, Feb. 4, 2008

Yeah, I have to say manga is a big source of inspiration, though it was absent today; I just now got back from a bookstore looking for a manga called The Day of Revolution, only to discover that someone else beat me to the last copy they had two days ago. >.< I got both volumes ordered, though, so I guess it's all good. XD As for what I write, I have to say we've got a similarity there: horror and fantasy are some my favorite kinds, though I prefer a combination of the two. My absolute favorites, though, are modern-time style stories, with mythological/science fiction links. Kinda like the Shin Megami Tensei games...more than one of my stories were inspired by them.

Myotis at 1:25PM, Feb. 4, 2008

That sounds like me with writer's block. >.> When that happens to me, I find myself reading all sorts of different manga and novels until I get the right inspiration. Oddly, music helps a lot. XD But yeah, game making's more or less a hobby of mine, though I only finished making a few.

Myotis at 6:36PM, Feb. 3, 2008

I wish I knew, actually. XD I'm finding myself increasingly bored these days...I'll probably get to working on a game I'm making later, though. How about you?
