Hi, I'm Chuck Whelon, the creator of the webcomic Pewfell, which I originally ran here on the Duck between 2008 and 2011. Since then it has been on hiatus and re-running on ComicFury.com. Now it's back, with all-new episodes.
Pewfell is a webcomic about a wizard, his warrior wife, and the small blue gnome who squats in their sideboard. It's written and illustrated by me, Chuck Whelon, along with my dogsbody, Adam Prosser. Pewfell is a semi-autobiographical, epic fantasy sit-com, set on a fantasy world of the far, far future called Urf. Pewfell began as a black & white zine in the early 1990s. I started putting it online sometime around 1996, and it has been on the web in one form or another ever since. Mostly it's supposed to be funny.

After an extended Hiatus, Pewfell is back with the first book in a new series… Inept wizard Pewfell may hate his job as a McLurgi’s Magic Shoppe sales associate, but otherwise things are going pretty well for him in the rural hamlet of Blotchley-on-Soddon. However, the tranquility of his new life is about to be shattered by a visit from his untamed barbarian in-laws. Meanwhile his diminutive manager, Gnoma, has just received a mysterious consignment from head office. Great jumping-in point for new readers!
