Ugh, not only am I a bit late, I'm also late without much to show for it.
Sorry everyone. I finished this too late yesterday for CK to shade it, and then had to get up as early as I could manage to letter and post it. That's my only excuse, and it's a weak one I know.
Also, I despise this strip. It wasn't funny, even after going through several different script rewrites, but I really wanted to show where Jared was going to get his supplies so that the next strip will make more sense and we can get down to building that (possibly) fire-breathing dragon!
Oh, and in case you were wondering when he'd show up, Andrew's in the next strip. ;)
And just to inform you, I know that most nails are measured either in millimeters or pennies and not inches, but Jared wouldn't know that, would he? Also, it gives me an excuse to toss in a Nine Inch Nails reference. ;P

Oh, and Henry will be in the next strip as well. He's getting a lot of airtime in this storyline, since he won't be in the next. Thanks everyone! Flup: Well since DD's image bug seems to have been worked out, I was eager to make up a new avatar, and it's been a while since we've seen Henry adorn my posts. I hate drawing hardware stores...(I have no effing clue what they look like!) (0_o) *oy vay* Sorry, it's partially my fault that you were very nearly late--I just didn't know how to draw the background and I'm a procrastinator. ;p (And I also don't care if my excuses sound weak.) Still, at least you got it up today! (ya didn't even have to use a filler.) *probably a good thing, considering what you've got* XD "'Cause it's the Handyman, Handyman Hardware!" *I'm gonna come up with a little jingle for it* 8D

Henry's soooo bored. CLearly he does not dig the coolness of the hardware store. (I heart hardware stores...yeah, even thought I am a girl)... That customer service guy's a lot nicer than the people in Home Depot. =p
