Hi everyone again, it's Nigellashade... Re:Yurika24, Yeah I noticed many loves the coloring, & the effects..It takes hours, or even days to complete a visual effect in a proper location. Thankyou for noticing! ^___^ Re: Kyros676, Thankyou for coming, and I'm glad you loved the coloring..This really makes me happy to create effect like this..I believe it completes a portrait in many ways. ^^ Re: Ender, Yeah I have noticed many says a lot about the coloring, & backgrounds. Thankyou for mentioning the vegetation, that took a long while..^^; (phew) And I'm also happy you mentioned about my characters, you'll understand why her features are more faded than Darius's later on. As for the outfits, I love designing clothing, and try using different methods to create a effect within the fabrics. But because of part of his aboriginal heritage, it's shades of beige, & the colors has more of earth tones to it. Darius in my story, there's a reason behind the dreams, that comes later on in future updates. And as for the name, my sister gave that name, when I created the story a few years back. Funny you would mention your character being a vampire, & having the same name as my main character. ~Because this story Ancestral Havens is also a vampire story~. ^___^ Thankyou for visiting me Rina, I hope you will enjoy your stay. Wow, you've struck up quite a large crowd of fans already! Rock n roll Nigellashade! ^o^ Your drawing and coloring style is beautiful, I am soooo glad you started the story up already. The background is very fanciful, and the vegetation is gorgeous! And your characters. The girl, so mysterious and beautiful. Her dress has a very lovely glow to it. And Darius there must be the protagonist ya? I really like his outfit, I bet I'll grow to really like him. ^_^ Darius is a great name. I have one character with the same name, but he's a vampire. Dreams/Dreaming is always an interesting way to start a comic. Really sets the fantasy in its place.

Re: TheDuckofAnime, I'm happy with the painted look, cause I used an airbrush tool on Photoshop.. Backgrounds are actually my hardest trait to master, I do better at character design than backgrounds. But I'm happy the readers like the artworks.. As for the fog, I had little part in that, in some way. My sister loves to be part of this story, & wants to help with some effects. She's a perfectionist at heart as well, but this is something she can be part of. Thanks for coming TDO Anime, & you have a wonderful day.. ^___^

I drew my story in quick story board, cause i wanted this to be a on-going series for awhile. I have to re-touch, clean up, & re-organize my stories panels, to fit better as in comic form. Hi everyone Thankyou for coming! Re: Spoonybelle, The dream sequence is a bit challenging to create, I'm happy with the results after many hours creating the atmosphere. Thankyou for liking my coloring, but it took me years to know how to color characters & backgrounds. O__o And for the dedication, I believe you deserved that one, cause when you saw my draft of the starting of the story, you said it was very good. The partial border on the Cover page is a different layer i created, I always loved the design of Jewel like orbs intertwined within driftwood.. Plus, I'm glad I made it clear on the text, I wanted to create a clear visual on them. So readers can understand what is said ^__^; Again Inidas Thankyou for coming... Re: Rubygem, wow what a pretty cyber name, I'm flattered that you liked my artworks. And for the outfit I used soft colors of ~Ivory beige like cream tones~, but for the feather style on it, it took awhile to create the soft fluency of the pattern on the clothing's surface. But I'm happy someone Loved it..^____^ I thought in the dream world, clothing reflects a spiritual emotion that creates a different vision. So by creating soft designs that flows within it's atmosphere, I wanted to achieve that it's part of a theme each time. About the name Nigellashade, it's used by my sister & I..(It's our cyber identity we use). ^__^ The pictures soft tones was created by my sister, she does realistic portraits (similar to what you see in Romance novel covers).. So her helping me with some mist, & lighting effects to fit in a 2d atmosphere, I think she did a marvelous job at it. But my sister & I Love, & admired painted artworks from a *Fantasy airbrush artist Luis Royo*.. We always want to drive ourselves to create better atmospheres, to fit it's theme. I think because we loved those type of artworks, we both wanted to start creating soft tones within coloring. (I use the air-brush tool to color & shade all of my creations, I only use the strait brush tool for drawing line-art) ^____^ I'm happy you Love it!!
