At ecchi_kitty since I cannot reply to her post in this thread. I'm thinking she may be a full body conversion cyborg instead of an android. A broken mind in a better killing machine body than the on the mind learned it's trade in. The comment of "You know what you are. I'm not your mother," can apply to android or cyborg. I'm thinking that ratio of android synthetic bodies is far greater than cyborg bodies and the common population will call any synthetic an android unless they know otherwise.
If it's a broken mind it doesn't have the restrictions of an android but it's flaws are more exploitable if known. A question of did the mind choose the body or was it assigned the body comes into play. Idle trope mongering here.
interesting.
Originally I saw her as simply the bad guy's sex toy and customized killing machine, and also punching bag when she's pissed off. She programmed her to think she was a child, and to call her mom, but when she's angry she calls her out on what their relationship really is. Because she knows it hurts Maddie like nothing else. I show some of this on the next couple pages.
Maddie is kinda giving me Ichi the Killer vibes now. Her, I assume, having manufactured memories, a mysterious overseer who she mistakes for a mother figure, her compulsion towards brutality, her child-like demeanor, the suit she wears in this scene. Just replace the wheels with blade equipped sneakers and we are very close to a case of rule 63 aka Maddie the Killer8)
In that case I... cannot recommend that you do:/ It is a very, VERY nasty, albeit fascinating, piece of work^^ Overall, I just think Maddie is a cool character and I long too see what she'll do next:)
My own take, but, she's an andriod; she didn't just -happen-, she was built, designed, for a purpose. Imagine that you exist, that you were created, for a specific purpose. How driven would you be? It's the mindset that makes fanatics so dangerous.

What drives this one to try so hard? To prove something to mommy? I think the look into this one's flaws would be interesting.
