That's it, this is the last page I had stored up, from now on I have yet to finish the rest. So updates won't be every day anymore… more like once a week or so. sorry :)
I was wondering how you were able to do art this good, and post it so fast! You had built up some pages, I see! Great work and story, I'll be looking forward for more
Unfortunate, but very understandable. I thought an update a day was a heck of a lot, more so for this quality of work. But I'll still be checking The Duck every day, so hopefully won't miss anything. Best wishes.
Don't be sorry. I did say up front you were releasing too frequently. I hd all the time in the world to do mine, between bouts of illness, so I had a big buffer and mostly did 2-3 pages per week. A decent buffer, and having several pages lined up to 'auto-load', meant I could even be sick, or just de-motivated, for a few days and it'd look 'seamless' [ my biggest prob' was forgetting to do those boring infil pages, until they were due...
So it's not only political but also a personal drama that cannot be blurred by a governmental sop. The picture of the crying old guy makes the scene quite touching, and I like especially how our super-empathic playbot instantly reacts (and reveals herself ... tactically unwisely) to the sorrow of the old man.
With that much of a buffer you could have updated slower to give yourself some time to put together new content. That way there's no sudden rush of pages and then... nothing. We're all supportive of change in updates and all, but it's better for yourself in the long run. I know no one reads me or pays attention but I know what I'm talking about from experience, good, bad and indifferent.
It's scheduling updates that what's good for your work schedule. I actually pad out my update schedule to allow me create new pages so there's no interruptions. Took me ten years and 7 comics and still haven't quite gotten it right.

Usually I read your comments (and the other ones) to this series - these high-level reflections are just part of the fun for me.

I read you. When I started I didn't think anyone would care very much one way or another, like on other sites I tried, now it's too late, sorry
