we had a dumptruck full of sand. it was a "sand pile". The more ruts in the driveway we filled the less there was to play in. Red sand even.

Late again, I'm gonna' have to clean out my fave list, 'cause I can't keep up. That or quit drawing that pesky comic. Love the POV looking down at the little girl!
*ROFL* =D That's GREAT! (And I thought the punchline worked alright for it.) Our sand box was just a pile of sand by the house, we used to build castles and dig pits...
I used to like making mud pies when I was little. I used to take a bottle of water over at my grandparents house and make puddles in their driveway. Then, using containers provided by said grandparents, I'd use my culinary skills to create mud concoctions. (Then my brother would be the judge and tell me if I won first place or not.) XD
Oh----thanks guys. :o)
And the dog 'henry' is a cameo of my brother's little Jack Russell Terrier of the same name. Except I goofed and put a tail on him.

I had a sandbox as a kid but it didn't have a giant tractor tire in it just a lot of cat poo.

I wonder if that's a common problem for sandbox owners.
crocty at 7:12PM, Jan. 11, 2008
She should've said "OK mommy, where's the sledgehammer? >:D"
