Batman:AA Gotta' Catch 'Em All!

Since every OTHER webcomic in the world is talking about Batman: Arkham Asylum right now, who am I to break the trend?

I beat it the day after it came out, and got all 240 Riddler trophies on my first time through (without the use of the internets!) So for the most part my enjoyment of the game has been maxed out. I've never been one for online stuff or “challenge” maps, so I don't really care about that. What I really wish was that the game had a new game+ type of thing where you got to go through it from the beginning with all your gadgets or an alternate costume or something else fun like that. But no, all you get is an “armored” costume (Which pretty much looks the same as the normal costume) for the challenge maps only.

It's weird being a comic book fan, and hearing about all the praise this game is getting. Now, I loved the game, it was a total blast to play and it had a lot of stuff for us comic fans. The fact that they used Officer Cash at all blew my mind. “Arkham Asylum: Living Hell” is a very often overlooked Batman mini-series that I really enjoyed.

But the fact that everyone in the “mainstream” world is going insane over this game is surreal. I own TWO copies of “Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu” for the PS2. I was gonna by this game regardless, the fact that it happened to be really really good is just a very pleasant bonus.
