Major Contest!
In an attempt to gain more online publicity for the comic Betting On Love :iconbetting-on-love: or http://www.drunkduck.com/Betting_On_Love/index.php?p=54689 (or B.O.L for short) is holding a large contest with three categories.
A. Fan art with winter as the theme ââ¬â draw any B.O.L character in a winter scenery
B. Fan art of a B.O.L character with any character from a popular anime/manga/game if you want you can include one of your own characters or yourself so long as the requirements are met.
C. A fan fic with at least 1,000 words and no more than 8,000. Must feature B.O.L character(s). You get a bonus if the story includes one of the following plot devices.
1. Noaââ¬â¢s birthday party
2. The male characters playing poker at the Takahashi house.
3. One of the characters cross over into another shojo manga or anime
4. A character from a shojo manga or anime is in the B.O.L world
5. Some thing based off of one of Nekoââ¬â¢s pictures ( Brows gallery http://betting-on-love.deviantart.com/gallery/ )

(1-3 place in fiction with a bonus gets the note book http://www.cafepress.com/betting_on_love.52739475 or a copy of volume 1 http://www.lulu.com/content/204669 )
The goal is to get a total of 100 entries. So anyone can submit to all three categories, but no more than 6 entries from each person.
Neko and I retain the right to refuse any entries that contain Henti, Yaoi, Yuri, excessive swearing, or anything else we deem distasteful.
All entries must be in before January 2nd You can submit it by sending it to Betting_on_love@yahoo.com or uploading it to Deviantart and sending a note to Betting-on-love.deviantart.com
By submitting an entry you are giving us the permission to host your work on the official B.O.L web site http://ejandneko.tripod.com/In.HTML
and any other B.O.L related sites. You will get full credit for your work and a link will be posted when possible. (So if you have a web page be sure to give us the URL when submitting)
A panel of judges made up of Neko, myself, and maybe a few others will pick their favorite 10-15 entries for each category and then create a poll open to the public where any one can vote. Poll will close on January 22nd 2007 and the winners announced on January 23rd 2007 the day of Betting On Loveââ¬â¢s 3rd anniversary.
Again all entries will be posted on the web site and banners thanking you for entering that you can post on your web site if you want.

Just so you all know BOL now has a website. Just the front page is done and I'm having problems with the frames, but if you have any request for what you'd like to see on the character pages please sign the guest book and let me know.
