I. LEAD pages 7-16

HEARTS GAINED: This took a lot of time. Really. It took a bit for me to get used to coloring. I am glad I got a couple snow days to finish this. This scene starts to put together the personalities of two main characters and sets up the plot. Favorite panel: Mighty Moe eating butterflies. Yes!

POISON RESISTED: I don't care what they tell me. I am going to move back to black and white after this. It is taking way too long to color. I did look into hiring a colorist(collected several emails), but I got hit with unexpected expenses this month and I feel like I want to use my resources for other objectives. I am not completely letting it go. I will color the covers at least.

About Lead: Lead can be incredibly useful metal. Lead can be melted down and molded into many things. It can even be used as a shield against atomic radiation. It used to be in many paints. Lead is also a very deadly poison. It is especially hazardous to children because they can unknowingly eat it. You see young children often put things in their mouth. Lead has a naturally sweet taste (don't ever try it). Kids liking sweet things will eat it(watch out for old paint chips) not knowing that it will cause brain damage or death. The theme of the chapter is the deadly allure of the Golden Wasteland and the two children it has taken in.

THANK YOU: To FanMinnetastic for their support of the project. Jennifer Grousy Girl of the group took part in helping to color 4 of these pages. The last 3 and the cooking fireplace page. Thank you! Thank you!
