Blood Reign Book 1 (1991)

Hi,
This is my first real comic, first published in 1991. It was my first attempt at self publishing, as well as my first real foray into self created comics. It is rough in all sorts of ways. My anatomy and inking has come a long way since this comic, but it also has alot in it I still like. The book was printed in B/W with red gore effects(Which was well recieved at the time.)
For those who have been reading Devil-Jack, this is the other character, mentioned in the title.
Blood reign resides in the same world as Paula (The current wearer of the Devil-Jack) and, eventually their paths will cross.
The art is rough, the writing is a bit hit and miss….but for what it's worth, enjoy!!

It's cool to see some of the early works of a talented artist. :-) And it would be cool to see those Manga Monthly issues sometime as well.

HOLY JESUS! This cover is amazing! By any chance, were you a fan of Image Comics SHADOWHARK? Cause I can see some of his suit in your design. Either way, this is amazing!

yeah man, it would be cool if you upload your manga monthly issues. when i'm ready i'm also going to self publish and see where it goes from there.

Actually, I did 3 issues of a book called MANGA MONTHLY before Blood Reign, as a way to test the waters. Maybe I'll upload those as well someday.
