It's likely that they've never met before. The Count and the Van Helsings have an ...unusual relationship, as can be seen in the "Bram's Sick" Arc, which likely doesn't involve a lot of face-to-face contact. Heck, depending on the situation, it could be considered surprising that The Count remembers which one's The Third (Bram's Dad) is... which would explain why The Third asked if The Count remembered him in that phone call.
