Who DOES make shit from scratch when spriting? Spriting is all about editing and frankensteining other stuff to get what you want then throwing it out there to feed. Or something like that . . . Regardless, if every spriter had to make everything they had from scratch there wouldn't be many at all because not many have the talent required to build a sprite from scratch.

also, would like to add: except for the sprite of me and the word bubbles, I made NOTHING from scratch.

I think this comic has a chance. Just looking at the way you made this strip shows that you are WAY better than most beginners here on DD. If you don't like the idea, you can always trash it and try something else. You're the author. Do whatever you feel comfortable with.
