Man, has it really been *that long* now? Goodness!! I'm obviously late to the party in congratulating you on your webiversary, but you should know that the work you've done has had a strong influence on a lot of people over the years. Stylistically for many people who drew inspiration from you, or friendships that happened because of the community you fostered. I know you've helped me in several ways, directly and indirectly, and I have never said how much that has meant to me NEARLY enough. This page is stunning, and in some ways, apt for this series- Intense emotion, tragedy, magic going haywire, and interpersonal connection. I know how hard it is to work on something for an extended period of time, never mind with this much detail.

This was a very striking page. Between the emotions of Hex and Yiska, very very...i lack the word. Hits you in the gut and sucks you into the page. Glad Hex isn't pissed. There may be a lot of sheepish but reclusive apologizing in his future...if the seaweed/hair lake monster doesn't completely put this event from his mind! But happy Anniversary! And many more! I've enjoyed this comic for quite a few years and i still enjoy it as much as ever!

Congrats on the anniversary! Cool page to coincide with it, too, as Hexavier is obviously confronted with his dark past as well. ;) I wonder who Mina is; somehow I've got the feeling that I should know, considering that I've been reading Charby constantly for most of these astonishing 17 years (except for the first three or four, because in the early 2000s I was still to cheap to get myself an internet connection - imagine that now!). The more I think of it the more nearly sure I get that the name hasn't appeared before, but I know my memory for names is like a sieve. It always has been, even with people I meet in real life and some of my own OCs. Anyway, I love how you recreated your old style in the anniversary picture. It kind of brings back memories (because my memory for everything other than names and numbers is quite good), as well as a strange appetite for chicken. :)
