Ben of POINT GUARDIAN contributed this beautiful page. We'll get back to the Green Avenger/Dasien fight in a page or two, and as Darkbringer and Hooli showed, it's very much on EVERYONE's minds.
Mindmistress changed back to Lorelei, afraid that Ataxim could drain even her intellect from her and derive power from it—but wouldn't notice the two powerless ones—the way a glutton wouldn't pay any attention to two unsalted crackers when a four-course meal awaited.
The Frodo and Sam reference in Mordor is very deliberate. I like the idea of the two most powerless ones determining the fate of the others. Lorelei, of course, is thinking of Lucy and Ethel in I LOVE LUCY reruns.
It's complicated, Zodo.
Oftentimes MM and Lorelei DO speak of each other as they were different. Oftentimes, like the matter of Troy,http://mindmistress.comicgenesis.com/siege6.htm one's aims conflicts with the other's--but they're still basically the same being, albeit MM is on "intellectual steroids". MM remembers everything that happens to Lorlelei. Lorelei remembers SOME of what happens to MM (some concepts and details are too much for her), but, for instance, in the first storyline with Forethought, when MM went to Lorelei to plead the case for humanity,http://mindmistress.comicgenesis.com/fourth32.htm Lorelei immediately remembered what situation MM was in and what she intended.
I think the distinction is that Lightbringer thinks the difference between MM and Lorelei is ABSOLUTE. That they are literally two different personalities, instead of two different aspects of the same personality. (Like you-when-drunk as opposed to you-when-thinking-clearly. Only moreso.)
And RedDeath, that's actually a leotard, a body stocking that MM/Lorelei wear under the armor. Metal CHAFES. It's been shown as far back as the storyline in which the Sisters of the Twilight first appeared.

I just wonder how Ataxim would handle it if some perfectly mundane person snuck up behind him while he was deeply engrossed in feeding and stuck a sharpened stick through his skull?
Has Lorelei ever Identified herself as Mindmistress before? MM has stated that they are the same person, but Lorelei always seemed to consider MM to be a different person from herself, if I recall.
Aw CRAP! I forgot to mention it AGAIN!
Ben Carver recently appeared on the Webcomic Beacon, episode 102, wherein he talked about fan fiction.

The story is progressing! Keep 'em coming. :-) I would have thought Smiley's dungeon could resist super power attacks quite well within reason.

The only real question I have is....how does Lorelei's clothes fit under Mindmistress' costume?

cool! Sometimes the "weaklings" are the best ones in a cinch and you often find yourselves relying on just a normal person.
