The next-to-last character to be revealed is MAJESTIC KNIGHT, currently in a storyline called MAJESTIC KNIGHTS: THE DARK AGE– sometimes called the Gray Knight. The Knight first appeared in Ben Carver's POINT GUARDIAN and is set in the same reality. In fact, the Majestic Knight's first encounter with Ultra (whom we saw in CROSSOVERLORD) reminds me a lot of the way Frank Miller portrayed meetings between Batman and Superman. His origin is told here.
The Knight's an interesting character. There's certainly a lot of Batman influence. There's also a bit of Hawkman, in the fact that he remembers his previous incarnations—which includes the World War II hero the Ally, and many other heroes–including, and most famously, his reality's…King Arthur. He's modern AND medieval. An engineer, the first to break from his family's tradition of being policemen—but he also remembers previous chapters of his long existence.
That makes two members of the new team who have ties to the previous team. Energize belongs to the same reality as Dasien, as the Majestic Knight is from the same reality as Ultra.
Oh, my MIND knows that, but my HEART was more impressed with displays of power from Valkyrie Yuki than Energize....

Is it sad that it seems to me that so far, the powerhouse of the team STILL seems to be Yuuki? Not a bad thing, from my perspective, just making observation...

anywho, this crossover stuff if good advertising for other comics. i got to ask, what should i read in order to get the crossover wars? i found them, but i couldnt make a lick of sense of it. i saw our M.I.A A.N.T fighting a fourth wall breaking fur-err, guy, before i cracked and gave up.
