Fun Notes
Sally was the 1st character I designed for the comic back in 1995 or 96.
In my earliest comics back in school her personality wasn't much different than Fenny's. But over the course of 27 comics that I made in school her personality shifted more and more to the innocent character you know today.
Sally was developed over time to be THE Mary Sue of the comic.
After finding the Mary Sue tests online I tweaked her and her story even more so she would fill the role. Just because I want to do some interesting things with the character later and hopefully make a Mary Sue much less Mary Sue-ish
Her design was heavily inspired from Patty off an anime called Gall Force. Her design has changed the most over the years.
The cat on her arm here is just plushy btw :p

Dekker: Glad you like the art. Don't worry, there are many other things that will probably kill her before the illness in my comic XD mlai: 4'11 She's really a shrimp all right. A very VERY girly shrimp none the less. You're always so hard on Sally just like many people at her school :( DAJB: Apparently not... peers at mlai >:-F patrickdevine: It's possible I suck at the Mary Sue test XD I never study... She's sure the most cliche! I wanted her to be one of those annoying too emotional characters the animes have. Characters that seem to have no other purpose than be there as a "I love anime jailbait that seems more like a pet than a real person" kinda thing. Those characters always got on my nerves so much as I kept watching anime. Like WTF are they in practically EVERYTHING?! Why do they all act a like? And why are they totally flippin useless? + they must have some kind of brain trauma to act like that. Competent girls never act like that but these over emotional freaks are accepted by society as normal and okay in animes. Heh, let's put one in my comic then. I have some ideas for a character like this. But I have to use the prologue to really establish her cliche... JeanSeishin, cameron11691, Aghammer: YAY ^^

[i]Those are some biga$$ shoes for a little girl.[/i] Back in issue 2 you told me I made feet too small. So I try not to do that. I always have to enlarge the feet... guess I'll stop enlarging them and see if you say they are too small still. Maybe that will balance them out.

I never really thought of Sally as a Mary Sue. So far it's been shown that she embarrasses easily and seems to have a hard time standing up for herself. Not very Mary Sue-like behavior. Fenny has more Sue-traits for sure at this point. If Sally's gonna grow into a Mary Sue role she's got a long way to go!

LOL she's not even 5 feet, she's standing on her toes (sorta). Those are some biga$$ shoes for a little girl. LOL she's so girly, even her shadow is pink. I'll continue to look down on this character until she has a dramatic turn and develops ridiculously over-the-top superpowers.
