Guess now we know where Edan got his gem-decorating habit from!
Sorry for this page being late again. It's a shame, two panels here I really like… then there's that first panel… yeah, just could not find a good way of doing that one. I swear, I think I have a blind spot for that 3/4 from behind kind of angle, and that's without the issue of conveying “Listening through door”!
Anyway, enough of art woes! So, yeah, this guy! Edan's father, self styled king (To the point of changing his name to Arinin, a draconic word for king!) Also managed to fit Tan's mothers name into the dialogue!
Edan, as it turns out, is just as snarky as a kid as he is as a late adolescent. Thankfully he's polite enough to only skirt around the edge of a few things!
We'll be getting to now a bit more about this guy next time (And probably, far too much)!
