Energize: Black - Page 8

So changing pace and changing scene, moving to a bar in Falcon City. For those that remember my other comic, this was the home to Fearless, who at the time was dealing with a vampire situation…coincidence??
My son has a comic X Heroes Academy from which he has also created a FLASH GAME.
Also, Energize: Hunted has is being re-released on Dasien.com and you can also see the completion of Fearless by Neilsama exclusively there at some point also.
Thanks for reading and commenting.

Thanks everyone (especially those that nominated the comic) - I have been away the last couple of weeks, taking a break with family. I will have a new page this week.

@Nepath - Thanks for the shout-out. Actually, the Fearless story line is not yet complete and is on hold, because it's a bit larger than I anticipated, but it'll get finished in time. Energize Hunted is being released because it builds right into the new Dasien story arc that will be continuing in about a month.

Lots of styles coming together in that last panel. The eyes look like a cross between Bruce Timm and anime eyes. And nice job with the posing of Energize--makes him emote, even without facial expression.

I concur. Lovely work. A step-up from your old comics. Expressive eyes are the key to conveying emotion. After a while, you learn you can tell a story without having as many word balloons, because the characters express so much facially. It sounds like you made a similar concession that I made, Luke. Less "ink" around the eyes makes them easier to express, although my solution was to remove pupils. Your solution, to remove ink around the iris, is fantastic. Looks great.

Thanks. During my break from the comic I worked on ways of having larger and more expressive eyes, but my line story wasn't working with it. In the end I made the decision to colour the eyes only. I think it works. And yes, expressions on a faceless mask is tricky.
