This is the last page of GirlSquadX. In keeping with the previous theme, the back cover was conceived of as a fake ad for a luxury car. Painting done in watercolor and gouache
How did I not see this comic before? It has a feel to it, like reading a Warren Publishing magazine Vampira, Rook, Creepy, etc or perhaps one of the Marvel mags from the early eighties that pretended to be Warren publications. Thanks for sharing this.
I read everything. Man, how I'll miss this series... I hope you have time to make more! A shorter version of this series would be well received on Heavy Metal Magazine, I bet.
These cars were designed on the principle that the wheel destroys the aesthetic purity of the automobile. The only function of these wheel-free cars was to sit motionless in your driveway, so that you could dominate your neighbors with your superior aesthetic sophistication

Thanks for the compliment! I wish I still had the time to continue the saga, but for now these pages will have to remain an archive of days long gone

Don't worry, I plan on drawing a new issue every 24 years or so... XD

Reminds me of the old fashion style consumer ads, but with a sexy futuristic twist!

I'll take ten!... of... whatever those are. Your fake ads are better than a lot of real ads.

Wow! Those are some nice cars!! Your traditional media is as stunning as your digital work. Is there anything you can't do?
fallopiancrusader at 9:11AM, April 18, 2017
Thanks! I love painting in watercolor, but it's so time-consuming!

Ah what a brave new world that have such things in it...

Thanks! Maybe someday, when I have infinite time on my hands, I will go back to drawing more of GirlSquad X's tales of exuberant nihilism
