Coming out of our New Year's break - Tempest got sick but still managed to come up with this spectacular page!

This page, along with some info that'll be supplied on the next, gives a nod to what happened on DAJB's multiple-dd-award-winning Shades. If you've read it, you can probably guess what artifact they're talking about on this page… it made its first appearance in Shades's prologue already, when it was stolen from the British Museum by the mercenary Dominion. My guess is that after what had happened on Shades, it was confiscated by the government. More on that on Thursday's page.

Also, some BIG NEWS: Relik will relaunch on January 12th - this Wednesday!!

Ozmandious: I'm not sure which civilians get to make stupid requests which the army will actually fulfill (I sure wish I was one of those!), but I'm sure Bleeder was talking about the ministry of defense rather than actual soldiers, if that makes you feel better ^_^ And yes, I can only endorse everyone's comments about Tempest's art!

ummm.... ya that would be a rather stupid request... kind of reminds me of a number of decisions made by the government officials in the old Justice League series (Sorry if you guys aren't a fan of that series)

Militarymen, especially those of the "what can possibly go wrong" kind, should recieve letters of gratitude from super heroes regularly because they're one major fator the super heroes don't end up with nothing left to fight.
