Round 2 page 140 Lavindil v. Red Chaos

To me putting up multiple pages a day reeks of a ploy to increase page views. Like imagine I split this page into three and put each up sequentially over the day. That would be three page views rather than one. Do that for every page and pretty soon the comic's page views would have tripled.
Hold on a minute. Why am I not doing this? Primarily because I like laying out the panels on a page. I make the comic panel by panel and then compose the page and the flow of the multiple panels is fun to play with. I'm not super innovative or edgy with lots of tiny reaction panels but I like what I can do. Not one for cluttered pages so I try to keep it somewhat clean even if the word balloons do get big. Just imagine if I used the bigger oval balloons with little print inside. I've tried. Everything I do is the result of trial and error. Then I go on hiatus and forget what I learned and have to relearn it all over again.

I am not sure which one is the last panel. The one where Lavindil strikes or the one where Red Chaos stabs?

I used to upload chapters at a time. Once a week when I was doing the Wizard of Oz adaptation. Don't do that now because mostly, I don't like reading online comics like that. Mind you, some comics like UsedBook's Echos might be better that way.

I started out uploading five pages at a time so the reader would get the flow. I found most readers read the last page and I'd have to constantly remind them to go back. So I keep it short and simple. I've settled into a six panel a page model here. I could change it up and for lots of dialogue make the panels bigger or smaller and have lots of cross cuts to stretch out content. Still a learning process.

heh, Lavindil told her to focus...that friggin shot Chaos gave her to her gut, in the last panel, should prove Red Chaos is focused enough!
