This is what I do for a living. In reality the kids are much, much worse. A lot of them run around screaming “boobs!” all day at the teachers… Japan is a very pervy country.
Usedbooks: I like all sorts of manga (as you can tell I've read Honey & Clover). My current addiction, though, is City Hunter (1983-1991), which is what my icon is referring to. Has anyone else heard of it? The continuation, Angel Heart, is actually still running.

Yes, my students tried to get away with all sorts of things until I learned how to scan the room and give "the look." Anyone that violated my rules faced the consequences. I don't mess around.

oooh I like the look of this! haha I have heard funny stories from other friends who have taught english to kids in japan :) I've read both honey and clover and City hunter, theyre both great comics! I like the charismatic light hearted atmosphere of city hunter, its very nostalgic of 80s culture! My favorite japanese comic is Osamu Tezukas 'MW', or possibly 'buddha'! I do believe they are making a film of it this year (wont be as good as the comic!)

I've been teaching kids here for around 10 years now... When I first started I was chopped in the "junk" and poked in the butt on several occasions... I have felt the pain!
