Page 1: issues 9 (Marooned) and Halloween Special (Cluster One)

I'm putting together a crossover project for next year to run through multiple comics and hopefully benefit the Hero Initiative. If you want to participate, e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site.

I've also started an IndieGoGo campaign to help me pay for artists for my projects. Please go to the campaign site and donate some money. I would appreciate it if you could give money. There are some fun perks involved. The site is here: http://igg.me/p/213480?a=408482

Top page: Bask in the glory of my first male fanservice! Actually, to be more appropriate, he would be nude, but that isn't the way I wanted to go. But hey, I think I actually can sometimes draw butts decently, which is nice.
It's a different story, as I keep saying, but one I've had in mind since before starting this comic, and one of the reasons this comic is anthology–so I can tell stories like this one and not have people wondering “What happened to the main character?” Actually, next month is going to be like this, too (in part because the special issue has my core characters in it–I can stretch a bit in the main issue).

Bottom page: This is the first time I've had all these characters on one page. Ever. The closest I came before this was a page I drew for the 2012 Drunk Duck Awards, but it didn't have Tempore (the other one I drew, with Tempore, didn't have the others on this page). So this is definitely my official entry into the 2012 Halloween Cameo Caper. While the others have their invitations, Tempore is actually there, continuing directly from last month's special issue.
I also realized I tried unusual situations on both these pages, with a character's limb breaking my normal panel structure. I think it works better here, as it serves to highlight the invitation, however difficult it might be for others to read the text. Also, note that I changed the word balloons slightly–rather than hard borders they have a shadow. It's just the borders never looked right and this way is faster and I like the way it looks better, anyways. Colton is off-model a little, though, which is annoying, but sometimes that's how it happens. Also, Julie's hair is lighter now, because I couldn't work with it too black, since that loses the lines I draw in there (like the continuation of the string for her mask). Imagine it's black, anyways. Also, the Runner is scratching his head because originally I wanted the note to be in English for him and he reads it worse than he speaks it. But, I figured the sender would personalize it for each character, so his invitation is likely in Flimerran and I had the dialogue act accordingly.
