I have absolutely no idea why I have Steve wearing a leather jacket thoughout this strip.. Just seemed kinda appropriate somehow..

And yeah, Steve's mum's a wee bit obsessive about not losing touch with Steve again.. I suppose a sixteen year gap between each visit would be a bit excessive.

You know, i gotta say its weird how steve's hands constantly change back and forth. -if steve's mum could embroider his shadow, does that mean she has magical abilities? -does sally go back to being steves assistant, or do they share the job? -will we ever see bobby's face? -and what is sally really hiding under that robe? All these questions will probably never be answered and more! Next time on Life and Death! In any case, nice transitional comic!

I would have liked to see his reaction when he found out that she embroidered his name into his shadow/robe. And Steve does get his job back now right? And if so what happens to Sally?
