the review was pretty good. i brought up some points earlier that i disagreed with, but if we were all of one mind things would be pretty boring. besides it would be more of a disservice to do the typical professional reviewer thing and throw a good review at it just so people like your review (if you don't like it you should say so as a reviewer, and why of course). currently i value yahtzee's reviews of video games more than any other reviewer out there (if you know who yahtzee is you know how sad that is).

The issue some of us had wasn't that the comic was using cartoony elements to tell a mature story, but rather it was using cartoony elements to tell a cartoony story... and then piling on gratuitous mature content for no discernible purpose. The reviewers disagreed as to whether this was really a big deal, and we tried to represent that in the final review.

Glad you took it as is and didn't get hung up on the negatives. Lite bites is up for best community comic with heroes alliance... Which I also help with occasionally... Well it will be a tough one, but tbh HA deserves it more.

El Cid has a point. I'm happy to have received something in which three individuals had different opinions that actually provides me with something I can use. I wasn't necessarily looking for balance. If a comic really isn't any good, what would be the point of balance? I would say that your critique was extremely fair. I think my growing pains were a little lengthy for your average webcomic, and that makes it hard to get into. On the other hand, I have made strides to improve the series, and you commented on those, too. As far as what happens in the future, all I can say is that the new story won't be like the last one. Ugh! That term: 'balanced.' You do a review like this one, where you point out both the good and the bad, but try not to come down too hard as either bashing or cheerleading, and then someone might complain that you were "unbalanced." Actually, that's the definition of a balanced approach; as for getting a balanced *result*, well, the comic itself wasn't exactly balanced. Unless the three reviewers end up with an equal amount of praises and crits, you won't get that, and that definitely wasn't the case here. 'Dasien' is a fun comic with beautiful artwork, and it keeps getting better all the time. But it's also not perfect, and there's nothing wrong with us pointing out things we found problematic. Hopefully Neil can sort out if he found anything useful here and use it to keep making 'Dasien' better!
