Highlands County Office Overcrowding

This is my first ever attempt at a editorial cartoon. Honestly before I was asked to start drawing editorial cartoons for my local paper I barely even read editorial cartoons, so I knew going in that it was going to be a major learning experience for me.

This comic is based on a local news story about the county office buildings being overcrowded and how there is little to no room for growth.

This cartoon is a pencil sketch scanned into photoshop with some basic rough shading… a technique I quickly abandoned.
