Tommorow we go into triple digits. My strip was mentioned on the latest pod cast along with Super Star “Life and Death”. I am in lofty company indeed. It was said that MM is a gag a day strip. Well kinda methinks. Todays strip is a story set up piece so no gag. I should put “cont.” in a small box in the corner so that you all know the gag is coming. Just not today. We will do the 100 strip hoopla tommorow and then continue with the story the day after. Wow there are alot of strips scattered all over my desk. “cont.”

While nothing wrong with gag a day I don't consider MM to fall under that category, I personally think of comics like saturday morning breakfast cereal and the perry bible fellowship or the strips from kamics and life and death that aren't part of a storyline as falling in that category. If you ask MM is a story driven comic with humor in it, though not everyone agrees with me

I think you guys misunderstand. There's nothing wrong with being a gag-a-day. You most certainly can have a story in a gag-a-day story. I just find that most MM strips seem to have a joke or a humorous twist to them. Either way MM found it's way onto my favorites

I agree with rmccool, your strip is not a gag-a-day strip. You most definately have a storyline with jokes thrown in on occasion. If I had to draw a comparison between your strip and another, I would most compare your strip to Elijah & Azuu. What I mean by this is a good storyline with a punchline thrown in every now and again. Ok, I think I'm starting to ramble a bit.... Keep up the good work. And congrats on reaching (almost) 100!

well almost humm you know i think your works is above that.. gags are fast short slap stick, jokes are on a higher playing level..and jokes and a story are on the next level more planing is required..well do you feel old being 100 ? on other thing: i hope you got the point of only do something if its what you want to do not want any one else in your life wants..or you will be un happy with it.(mates are the exception here..somethings you got to do to stay happy.. you got to do the yard work even if it makes you not so happy) any ways things done half heartedly are blimished ...toss e-rocks at me if i get to deep or bossy...or talk to much
