That was a classic manuever from the old days. FOBG comes to work grumpy, growling about this and that. we'd say "hey, FOBG, check out this *fill in blank here - shiny new object, possibly carveable* Bet you could make something wicked cool out of this!" Cut to, 12 hours later, FOBG looking around, not wanting to leave...* Loved the cross cartoon story line, brother. But I'll have you know, I've matured in recent years.
