175: This Comic Existed, Remember?

Blind Person on June 29, 2011

Wow. It's been, to say the least, an absurdly long time. I have no excuse for this because I could have started again at any time, but I'm back and hopefully that will be the last unannounced hiatus. Anyway, I've got a few things to say, so if you care, you can read them.

First of all, I'm going to try to not be so hesitant to create new poses. I'm going to change my criteria for making a new pose from “Do I want to make a new pose” to “Will making a new pose increase the clarity of the comic?”. This should result in a better looking comic overall, but I won't exactly be making new pages rapidly. Of course, coming back after a year is more than anybody was asking for, so I don't expect any complaints from you guys. I'd guess about two pages a week from this point on is as much as I'm going to manage, especially once I get back to school in the fall. I may get you more during the summer.

The other thing I wanted to address would be my sonic comic, Marred Visage. The general response to that comic was way larger than to this one, and I plan to get back to it. However, I'm comsidering restarting the comic, mainly because adding new characters in the middle of the storyline caused things to get slightly muddled. I never expected as many cameos as I got, so in order to prevent the plot from collapsing on itself, I think this is the best option. Comments on this decision would be welcome.
