Before Deployment!

Drawn soon after getting back from Iraq. Character in picture is the future Combat Medic, Doc Smith. (aka Me the artist: Andrew Smith) Little does he/ did I know that the deployment turned out to be a great and life changing experience.

I'm not much into drawing a strip, more like the “Far Side” one box to explain everything and that is it. This picture was drawing in pencil, inked, and then colored by color pencils on normal sketch book paper.
