Jenny's mermaid Adventure, part 9

So, The Deep and Mermaids. I don't think The Deep has ever been referenced in the comic before, although mermaids are referred to as “Daughters of the Deep” at least once. The Deep is mentioned a little in the Yeld RPG as Dragul's ancient enemy. Its a powerful entity that inhabits the oceans and seas of Yeld. Its been at war with Dragul and his Hunters for a thousand years, and it created the Mermaids as soldiers to fight that war.  of curse, some Mermaids escaped The Deep and found homes in Yeld, and some were born in Yeld and have never known The Deep, but all Mermaids are terrified of it.
