Spark in the Deep: Page 51 - Pied-de-Grue! Here we come!

Molly drives off to Pied-de-Grue. And my, oh my, what a city district that is to live in^^

This one took some time to make. I used some referensing for the stuff in the foreground on the middle page and then I sort of just continued to draw accordingly to how I envisioned Pied-de-Grue would look like from this viewpoint all to way to the background.

I think I got it fairly good. Croix-D-eaux plaza on the bottom panel I also used a bit of referensing before I could make it click with how I envisioned this location. And it's an important location for future story arcs too so it was important to me to have it done relatively right

I love that view of Pied-de-Grue, it must have taken some time to draw!

It was a bit tough. Not used to drawing cityscapes. But it came out close enough to how I imagined it.

The city in the water makes a cool setting

Indeed^^ And it works together with a city like Port Hommerond. Travel with boats through and across town are common due to the city being very much structured like Venice. And it suits Molly being half sea creature too^^
